Freaky Friday

Halloween yesterday and I certainly got a fright when my path crossed with this chilling abomination.

Yes, Sutton Park again; this time with my Mum. Aside from the somewhat genetically challenged Mallard stock, I've been pleasently surprised by my recent visits here and I'm keen to explore the area further when I get chance.

Starting off from Streetley, we walked all the way through to Sutton town centre.

Around 200 Fieldfare over. Also 20 Redwing, 1 Lesser Redpoll, Reed Bunting, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Goldcrest, Kestrel.

Longmoor Pool and Wyndely Pools both had token single Herring Gulls, also a few Pochard and a Gadwall on Longmoor. Probably the highlight of the day was being able to watch these Jays at close quarters, as they collected nuts.
